Love this item: Tripods and Monopods

Bought to use with my 360 degree camera It has a very small footprint and produces a very small nadir point. Works well with my small 360 camera but I wouldn't leave a full size DSLR on it unattended. Buy a tripod if you are using a heavy camera. But as a universal monopod I like it.

good solid monopod.

Glad I brought this to the conference. Many rooms were underlit and dark, so I had to increase the ISO and shoot at a slower shutter speed, surprised that my 80-400mm f/4.5 lens was supported. The tripod legs can be at different angles, if I wanted to go higher than the monopod can go, I just adjusted the angle a bit steeper and it was fine.

The main disadvantage! The threaded nipple that attaches everything is only held in place by glue!

Nice thick metal but without the male threaded nipple that is permanently connected or bolted to the stem. Anything that was just glued and failed completely gets screwed into this nipple! The nipple must be welded in the lower leg. By the time it's finished, it will eventually let everyone down. The nipple inserted into the last lower leg is held there only by a kind of adhesive material. The only way to solve this problem is to glue them together. For this reason I can only recommend the…

Good monopod, but problems after problems

So far so good. I wish this monopod was of good quality and the legs would be a bonus when I carry the AM 47 in a softbox with my Type-E camera mount and it works and keeps the large softbox stable. Keep yourself updated over time. Update August 12, 2016, the tripod or monopod started to give way when I tried to straighten my legs and when I tried to straighten my legs the areas that could straighten my legs refused to tighten. They just snapped in fine, one did and I'm not sure on this product
