Our dogs are great at running away. They started tearing down the wooden planks from our fence and ran away at least every two weeks. It's been 3 months since we installed it and they never got closer than 3 feet to the fence on the lowest setting! That was redemption.

The wire was very weak and broke while I was installing it. Also, the fence doesn't activate permanently after the dogs leave the yard, which doesn't stop them from leaving the yard. If they are not properly attached to the collar, a continuous tone will sound.

In the beginning (first week) it worked fine. . Less than a month has passed and the color seems to have stopped and now not a single color is shocking. I want a refund Or send a new one. Maybe it was defective or something. I'll call tomorrow morning. Very disappointed! Kind of upset to be honest.

I wanted to live it up for my dogs but I can't give it more than 1 star. It works great for a couple of months and then my dogs start leaking acid from the batteries. At first it was my like and a replacement was sent to him. This is my Belgian Malinois now. I won't try again. Both dogs have bad neck sores from this and I take them out once a week to charge and clean the forks.

Best $200 I've spent in a long time. I like that you can take the remote with you outside the fenced area. The battery life of the collars and remote control is amazing. The remote control is easy to use. I like that there are 3 correction options and the correction level is saved for each dog. For example, we can set a higher setting for a long-haired dog than for a short-haired one and it will always stay at the last entered correction level.

Less than 1 star. I asked for a new device with a guarantee. I specifically addressed the issues I was having: transmitter failure and collar not working. First they replied me quickly and sent a replacement. I was static! Until the box arrived overnight. They sent me a received (necklace) nothing more. . . Not even a collar to put on. You have not responded to my email regarding this matter. I don't get an answer from anyone. Do not buy this device.

Ordered a remote KoolKani training and underground dog fence. After a few months, the main unit showed a broken wire. After inspection, it turned out that the main unit was out of order. I contacted Legend Zone and they sent me a new one the next day. A little bit of tinkering was done with the new device. Then Legend Zone sent me two new collars. Long story short, Legend Zone worked with me to solve my problem and even sent me a different base unit. Response time and professionalism satisfied.

So far I am satisfied with the collars, especially at an acceptable price. We have used ecocollars in the past at a previous lab and they did a great job with the collar and it was very easy to use. With the Kool Kani system it has so far been easy to install an external boundary wire and get it working and my puppies (11 months and 4 months) are just starting to train themselves on a leash.
