They are great for our kitchen

I ordered 5k color temp they were too white for our kitchen then I ordered these led bulbs. The color goes perfectly with our kitchen. They replaced halogen bulbs which were VERY hot and awful and lasted a very short time. At first they flickered sometimes, I just replaced the dimmer with a switch and they didn't flicker, but in some cases they were too bright so I installed a new dimmer and they don't flicker. I can recommend these LED bulbs. Good quality!

Good white light except for the dim one.

a little later 4000K white provides a clear workspace without the harshness of 5000K light. Our hood has a full and dim lighting mode. At full power these bulbs do not flicker and look great. In the dimming position of our Wolf hood, these lamps are dimmed, but they also have a noticeable flicker rate. In a dimmer designed for LEDs, these bulbs may not flicker when dimmed, but they do flicker in our 12 year old oven. The replaced halogen bulbs were shorter and the new LEDs protrude slightly…

Works with Lutron Maestro dimmer switches the same size as the original PAR20 Halogen!

I love the color of halogen lighting, which is why nearly all the fixtures and lamps in my house have (or had) halogen bulbs. I would describe halogen lighting as a little less yellow than incandescent but not as blue as fluorescent, perfectly bright but not harsh lighting. The problem is that they use a lot of electricity and also get very hot. I have a 6 track fixture in my kitchen that uses 50w PAR20 halogen bulbs. I used to try to switch to replacing LEDs, but the lighting was so glaring I…
