My rats didn't like it. They chewed on the corners and then peed on them. Not worth the price. Maybe good for another kind of creature.

I have a round tailed ground squirrel, orphaned and bottle raised by my family. She's still a big baby at almost four and just loves to shred these pads to add to her amazing fluffy nest. Queaky rates these five stars!

Our rats didn't like it, they ate it and just moved. The squares have been there for a week and nothing. I give 4 stars because it is as advertised and you get your money's worth per pack. Also high quality soft material.

Good price and just what you would expect. My Syrian dwarf hamster shows no interest in him which is disappointing. I tried looping it to start, hoping she would find it useful, but it didn't work. It wasn't as pretty and fluffy as I hand ground it. I'll give him 4 runs anyway because that's what the seller advertised and it's not his fault my hamster doesn't like it. You won't know if this product is right for you until you try it. I used something similar with another hamster when I was a kid

After cleaning our gerbils' cage, we sprinkle lint on the bottom of the cage and then 1 or 2 lint on top where the gerbils usually nest. Night. While carrying the down from bottom to top, the gerbil also spent time grinding it down. This seems to have helped make his little house more comfortable and have his own sleeping area separate from games and #1 and #2. The Shred-A-Bed material was softer and denser than other down, so he gave Mr. several different textures.
