I love these spurs! They are just the right length to give my horse a gentle nudge to get over jumps! I can only ride with spurs and without a bridle. I highly recommend them!

Update. The polish has worn off after a few rides and is rubbing brown under my boot. work, but they looked ugly very quickly.

I don't expect more from a spur. They went well with my odd shaped boots and held their shape perfectly. Although I work with horses every day and my equipment gets quite a bit of use and abuse, I have not noticed any wear and tear on these spurs. And when I use them to motivate a horse, they do a great job without being too harsh.

I was looking for a flat western spur but it didn't quite fit. Even the longer size was still too short for a Western and I had trouble making contact. I think it will work for English riding where the stirrups are shorter and the heel is further down the side of the horse. The spurs themselves were good quality so I didn't shoot the stars, they just didn't fit what I wanted them for.
