Great boxes, especially for the price!

Both boxes arrived in perfect condition, with clear plastic spools. I don't need spools, I wanted to use them for my beading threads which are already on clear plastic spools. Although the case is good, I can immediately see all the colors of the Toho One-G threads to choose what I need. The boxes also seem to be quite durable so I'm guessing they will last a while.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Very nice coil boxes!

I really like these boxes because they hinge and snap open. I ordered 2 sets and they came filled with clear plastic spools. Nowhere on the packaging is the grade/size of these reels indicated. I have 100 rolls that I doubt I will use. One reviewer said her Bernina coils fit in the box, but I think they must be an older model. One of my machines is a new Bernina 570 QE which uses newer large spools and does not fit.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price

I like the idea of these compact plastic boxes but I can't use them. They're not big enough to actually hold coils. The lids cannot be closed. Trying to keep the small latch closed leaves a 3mm gap between the lid and the base. For reference I have a couple of real Pfaff coils - blue plastic that fit their ACDEF and G class machines (definitely not "big" coils) I've tested them with Elna coils - they fit. It turns out that Elna coils are wider, but their diameter is smaller. Elna coils are…

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • I'll write back later
