no quality control. very dangerous considering what they are for

That carelessness nearly ended my life. The first ride after installation hit a dead end when my bike suddenly wouldn't stop. Luckily I was able to get it under control 2ft from the wall. Too much glue caused 2 sticks. be very careful.

Pros
  • very impressive
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

Exceeded expectations

Excellent pens. I ordered a pair for my Dongfang Crystal Turtle King 200cc scooter. The handles are thick and comfortable. strong, durable. good weight Survived 5 wipeouts (automatic crashes) and still looks damn good. Everyone comments on them. I bought a second pair for my Moto Guzzi V7 motorcycle. The end caps (spike ends) are attached with 4 set screws and can be removed to add mirrors if required.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

What's great about grips

The grips are great, comfortable, easy to fit and look great until you drive down the road and the pointy ends don't fall off because the screws come out (it's very important to lock tighten, check fastening screws in various ways and check frequently). Also buy Gorilla tape because the knobs will come loose and fall off the handlebars. I used to buy chromed ones and had no problems.

GREAT! Better brand "K ".

For those of you looking for an expensive K-Brand, GET THIS INSTEAD! Same quality construction, durable black powder coat finish, soft rubber grips. They were the cake for my Kawasaki Vulcan Custom, in fact they were a little snug. The pillows are great! Comfortable to grip and non-slip. I ride in AZ so the metal gets a little warm but the pads are soft to the touch. The screws holding the spike caps are also black, which surprised me, but it's nice to see they went through the details. I will…

DO NOT BUY. DANGER!

Good Good: -They look cool -Comfortable rubber grips -Price Bad: -The cable housing was a bit thicker (than stock) which required some adjustments to the throttle cable. It took some time to figure it out. I see where others say rubber gets dirty very easily (not a big deal to me). Can't really speak to durability, but I don't think they'll last very long - the thickness can take a while to get used to ("that's what she said"). All in all I am happy and excited to be using these knobs on my…

Here's the dirty and dirty truth.

They look damn cool, just installed and yes I had to make changes but if you can't handle changes don't install anything yourself. The left grips, as others have said, are very, very loose. It seems to be designed for an inch and an eighth tube instead of an inch. But grip glue should solve this problem, I used gorilla glue, will update later to tell you if it holds or not. Now for the mods, no two bikes are alike so it's silly to think the throttle body will be the same size. For example I…
