Great grips! on Grips

These grips are handy and easy to put on. The biggest problem was getting them to stay in place. Some online sources say you have to apply hairspray to hold it in place, but I wouldn't trust that. I used epoxy to glue them on. You may never come off, but that's okay. I tried caulk which eventually came off so I would recommend epoxy.

Mixed Feelings: Parts

When I replaced the stock Gripsons on my '07 Ultra Classic, I loved the look and the comfort on short or long rides. When I slowed down sharply to avoid colliding with a T-Bone, thin sheet of chrome, or plastic, the crank snapped and popped, where I added extra weight in the spin. Considering I ended up with a torn shoulder, the grip must have been heavily used. Gorilla glue import my friends lot.

Suitable for large pinion.

is advertised as "goes with anything with 1: steering wheel". Not true. I have a Harley Electra 02 Glide Ultra and the clutch was too tight on the throttle side. Yes it fits ie it slides but it sticks to the side of the control box due to 1. too small a hole and 2. too thick a throttle cable lip going all the way around the grip causing further sticking. Definitely do not recommend this for Harley.

Great for my Burgman 400!

Saw her originally on a Harley and took a touch and thought. .These grips look and feel great! They complement my Silver 2007 Burgman 400 very well! Although it did take a bit of work on the songs to make sure they fit properly. The YouTube video couldn't help! A little sanding of the scooter's right handle and a quick cut out of part of the old handle for surrender and wallaaa! Recommended to all cyclists!

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Compatibility

These were replacements for the factory grips for my Shadow VLX. Good:* Looks great and feels great, best I've ever spent on a bike* Nearly exact replica of Karukyn equivalents, for a fraction of the price* Technically plug and play, depending on my bike Wactch-Out VLX Owners: *My bike required the clutch to be loosened a bit (under the tank) and then I also had to hot glue it to the throttle as it was too loose. No big deal, no regrets.

Excellent grip Details

These grips are amazing. I put them on my 2010 Fury and they fit and look great. As stated by other reviews, the clutch side engaged in about 5 seconds, but the throttle side needed some tweaking. I, like others, had to reuse the stock throttle bushing. But honestly, who cares! Throttle Bush - Throttle Bush. Thing is, I paid about half the price for them as "another brand" and can't tell any difference between them. If that means I have to fiddle with the gas for another 20 minutes, then so be…

Pros

Cons
  • Very expensive

They will do their job!

EDIT: Changed the rating from four stars to one. Their use is not safe. My right arm fell off my sleeve as the glue holding them together failed after a few hours of use. I cannot stress enough that they do not offer safe motorcycle handling. Stay away! These grips look like another popular brand of grips, just not overpriced. I am happy with them for the purpose I bought them for. If you want absolute 100% perfection, look elsewhere. For my cheaper, older and broken bike they work perfectly…

Good but not ideal for motorcycles and weightlifting

I bought these for my Harley Sportster, they were delivered quickly and looked great but I didn't get a chance to mount the clutch side because the locking ring was too big. The company put a note in the box asking me to email the company with any problems before I leave a bad review. Well they didn't leave any contact, not even an email so I did some searching and found the company in Kanade not only emailed them with my problem but also called them and left several messages, and still none of
