Disappointing - Clips

Although I paid more for this clip than it was worth compared to well made and established brands, I was disappointed with the functionality and quality. After 30 minutes of use, the synthetic latex handle has detached from the lock side of the handles and won't stay for money or love. The locking feature never stays in the same position, requiring constant adjustment between drilling pocket holes in the same panel. For the price, I expected more, given the quality of the many other Kreg…

Nice tool but can do without

Not required for use with Kreg cabinet mount but worked for some of my drawers. It takes a few extra seconds to use, but ensures the jig doesn't move when drilling holes for screws. I wish it could be adjusted by simply squeezing rather than turning the screw like standard vise pliers as my drawers varied in thickness and I often had to fiddle with the adjustment screw between uses (requires two hands and therefore forced me to turn the screw release correctly aligned clamp). It's pretty…

NOT PREMIUM for power tools and hand tools

Bought to build a small workbench and worked very well. But the design is not as premium as they say. The rubber pad on one of the handles keeps coming loose when you try to pinch the pieces of wood. This is a big deal when you have quite a few joints to make. When the rubber separates from this grip there is a small metal lever inside the grip that just sits there and EVERYWHERE in the packaging is its purpose. Does somebody know? Otherwise, it served its purpose well enough to be…

Kreg Forehead Clamp: C-Clamps

Very good forehead clamp. I've read several reviews where people have complained about the plastic/rubber grip falling off. I definitely experience it. It hurts but I love this clamp. I can poke a pen. Otherwise it works like any other vise. You tighten the screw at the bottom of the handle and push. I like that both pads that touch the wood are big. The bottom one is slightly larger than the top one, but both hold the wood very firmly. I wish it came with protective pads for delicate work, but

It clamps well and is easy to use with one hand

I already have one of these clips and use it often on the Kreg Pocket Hole Jig. It lies well in the hand and can be operated well with one hand. Thanks to the flat clamping surfaces, you can also use it as an end clamp if required. So don't think this is just a clip for a pocket hole attachment. I took this second one because 1) I've wanted a second one for a long time; and 2) I got a Kreg drawer pull and need two clips to use the drawer effectively. The clamp size adjustment screw works well…

  • There are other interesting options.

Good, Not Premium: Hand Tool

I bought this clip to use with a Kreg pocket hole gauge. I've used it enough to appreciate it's pretty basic after all. I like the overall feel of it. The materials make a robust and well-made impression. The mechanism runs well and runs smoothly. It has a conventional screw adjustment and is therefore suitable for a wide range of material thicknesses. I think it will be a good work clamp for a long time. Some of the things I was a little disappointed with were the finer details. The rubber…

Is OK, not Premium

Clamp Does what it should. He pinches. The price should be around $15 as it is no different from $10 clips in this style. The blue rubber grip is junk. it comes off every time you pinch it, so just take it off and throw it away. Seems like an afterthought. I know this sounds like a negative review but I love it and if I could deduct half a star I would. The price is too high due to the rubberized blue part which just gets in the way. I know their version 2 is much better, but it's $30 and you…

It's a good clip, but for the price I expected that.

This is a good clip but for the price I expected it to be a bit "premium" as the name suggests. The blue plastic cover over the vise latch keeps falling off and the screw tension adjustment is not accurate and changes a bit as I assemble 38 handles on my kitchen cabinets and drawers. However, for less than $20, you'll probably have to buy this or something because it will definitely save you a lot of frustration. It got disconnected from me once (with a little damage) during a project, but…
