Does its job well

I'm sure there are other products I could use to program this radio. The software from RT Systems is VERY well thought out and functional.

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Good but not great

How about a port to Macs

Unfortunately I have to write that before I buy it. I'm pretty sure it works as other reviewers have said. My problem is I have to buy a computer to use it because they discriminate against Mac users. Yes, I could install Windows on my Mac, but that disqualifies me from the Mac. I think Kenwood can afford to port to Mac as many very small companies can also port to both computers.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
