Rusted in less than a year!

We were SO excited about this large waffle maker that has been working for several months with no problems. Then it started to rust and rusted badly. We have dried it out of the dishwasher and it is rusting more and more. We are sooo disappointed. Unlike other reviewers, they seem to think all negative reviews are user error. it was not. We sprayed it lightly before each use and washed it in the dishwasher. We strictly followed all instructions. Unfortunately we cannot use it for less than 8…

After only 3 months the bell that was supposed to let you know the waffle was ready started making a very high pitched (and terribly annoying) noise all the time - now it sounds like a smoke alarm . . There is no obvious way to turn it off and use the iron without it. My last Krups waffle maker lasted 14 years with no problems so I went back to Krups. Terribly disappointed. This waffle maker appears to be weak and of poor quality as evidenced by an erroneous beep. I give it 2 stars because I…

Beep, hiss, WOW! Delicious!

Have you ever had a craving for something and it just wouldn't let go? That happened last week, demanded "Waffles"! Where does that come from, I thought. I haven't eaten waffles since then. the? 1980s? Every day "waffles!" Okay, okay, okay, I give up. Krups GQ502D is Revain's favorite, let's move on. A few days later we are there. While the GQ502D drove to my door, I prepared some fruit and here we are at last. a little oil to help the non-sticky finish a bit, whipped up some Snoqualmie Falls…

This waffle maker replaces AllClad which is 5 years old and I think is a very good product. However, in the end, AllClad just didn't work, and we looked for a replacement. This Krups is GREAT! It produces evenly baked, crispy waffles and is a much better waffle maker than my old AllClad. We usually make waffles every couple of weeks and only cook for 2 people. We've found that the best bakes are achieved with the "5" maximum setting and about 1/2 cup of batter per section. (Also, it's the first

Excellent waffle maker! - Kitchen & Dining

My son wanted a waffle maker for Christmas so I started looking for options. I have three and each one produces a large waffle because when I'm entertaining a group, one waffle at a time (@7 minutes each) isn't enough. I found this waffle maker and was so impressed I added it to my wish list as well. When I bought it, the iron was just under $56; I noticed it's on sale for over $100 right now - stay tuned for lower prices! Update December 27, 2019 EVERYONE loves this waffle maker! Makes great…
