I have a cat with a tiny frame and a long body (very Siamese). I originally ordered a size smaller than this and it was a mistake. These bags/cargoes are smaller than expected. And she weighed about 8 pounds when I got this (and a little bit more now). For a cat weighing 7-8 pounds, this bag will fit. And it has a great design; impossible to escape.

Worked great. Our cat rescue team is trying this size, and when we had a cranky baby that was a little under the low end of the weight range to limit that size, we were able to get it working with all the different velcro straps. It's strong and reliable, and the neck piece is extra secure. Velcro adjustment allowed for both front and rear quarter vaccinations with a single "Purrito" pack.

I have 2 cats that require oral medication daily. While both are quite compliant without inhibitions, cats have different moods on different days and limited patience with syringe medication. It has really helped me and my cats reduce the stress even further. I will buy one size bigger because a cat is just very, very long. It fits, but hardly. A good product. I've used it before to help with daily medicine, ear cleaning, fur trimming of paw pads and fur trimming around the plumbing.
