Large size to fit frame and post/railing/sign/meter but not with wheel

Great bike lock with medium to high security. I bought one for myself and my wife as we both commute regularly. The Mini U is big enough to attach my bike to most bike racks, street signs and parking meters. However, I cannot mount it around my frame, rack and wheel. Because it's a smaller U-bracket, you really have to rely on cables to attach the wheels to the bike. I don't live in a big metropolitan area or a big college town, so that's enough for my daily needs. Mounting on a bike frame isโ€ฆ

A good size U lock for my needs but I am having trouble with the cylinder on the lock.

This lock is exactly what I needed, however the lock I received from Revain today had a cylinder that was not worked very well. Kryptonite says the lock has a new design and I'm wondering if all the bugs have already been fixed. Eventually the key only went halfway in and I could see that the back layers of the cylinder didn't line up with the outer layers. I don't know how many layers it is, but since the key only went halfway, it wasn't possible to rotate the back layers to line up with theโ€ฆ

After 4 years it still works and has never let me down. Ignore other reviews.

I bought this lock when I first got my e-bike and came back after 4 years to write a review and was shocked to see all the 1 star reviews Seeing reviews with people who didn't seem to understand: a) the limitations of ANY U-lock (like the fact that it's rigid so not suitable for things like power poles) b) how to pick the lock (tip: You push the key all the way through) and turn it ) c) All bike locks are daunting. If you've parked your bike in a dodgy spot, or if someone *really* wants yourโ€ฆ
