Garbage. Not recommended

Don't waste your money on this product. Vibration makes it useless. Get a frame-mounted mirror system instead. Having thrown this item away and left with a ram mounted mirror I have never looked back.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • No instructions

Cheap, probably not for much longer

Acerbis brand. It's a cheap mirror and will likely break when I first put my bike on the ground, but it should help me pass inspection and hide well behind my license plate/headlight when I'm not riding.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Very expensive

Do not exceed 40 miles per hour.

If you want a mirror on your hard enduro to be legal when you hit the road. This is your bag! If you want the mirror to work at over 35km/h, it won't work. Terrible wind resistance. I hit 70 on the Autobahn and a jerk slapped me in the arm, I said that was cool and wrote this review.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I will add later

Won't hold position

Plastic clamp, self-tapping screws for retention. The mirror does not stay where it is on the steering wheel. If I need to see behind, I usually turn the mirror on the steering wheel. I just drive around town and try to keep an eye on the weird heads behind me. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Zero

But it's better than my Steel Pillar OEM mirror

That's exactly what it should be. A simple mirror that works. yes it vibrates But that's for a dirty bike. I bought it to adapt my WR450 to road conditions. I've been using it since 2004. The mirror broke so I smeared it with Krazy glue to hold it together. Now I need another one for my DR650. It's a bit pricey for what it is. But it's better than my OEM steel post mirrors. Don't expect much from the "looks" but it hides well.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are drawbacks

Lightweight product

With the exception of the screws and the mirror itself, this device is made of moderately flexible plastic. The mirror in mine broke when I collided with another bike in the mud. Nothing was injured either on the bike or on me. Positioning of the mirror is done with a ball joint friction clamp (like your shoulder). If you're using it for an off-road bike, I recommend a "tear-off" type that folds easily and is a bit more durable. The best recommendation I can give for this product is that it is…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Poorly designed
