Never cheap

It took a little effort to see how easy it was to fold the top half, but gosh, this thing made Thanksgiving potatoes easier to peel. I'll let you know if I ever stop loving this thing, but don't hold your breath.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • A few bits and pieces

I don't like using her paring knife

Bought this for my daughter. Every time I come in and cook for the whole family, I don't like using their vegetable peeler. So I decided to get her one. The product is well made, durable and easy to use. I have a similar item at home.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Style 90

Very good cleaning knife, best in kitchen and dining room

In fact, you can tell this is a well made product as soon as you pick it up. I'm not used to using a vegetable peeler because most of the nutrients in food are just under the skin and the reason I got it was to chop carrots in a salad. She's quite perceptive and does her job well. The shavings are too thin for me, but I still save time by using them instead of a knife. All in all a very good product.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Band

I really wanted to love this grater

I really wanted to love this grater. I like that it is not made in China but is made of stainless steel and looks like a quality product from a reputable brand. However. this is the THIRD grater, I am going back to Revain with the same problem: the grater does not lay flat on a flat surface but the legs seem to be bent somehow and only 3 legs ever touch the surface it is standing on so, as soon as you touch it, it shakes. I'm not sure if this is an issue with this batch or a general issue with…

Pros
  • Keep my fists
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

good grater: grater, vegetable cutter and slicer

Ever since I tried the Microplane grater, I knew that graters only existed with etched teeth (as opposed to stamped ones). I left my grater too close to the oven openings (hot air deformed the plastic frame) and decided to look for an all-metal grater of comparable quality. 2) all-metal. This is one of them. In general I am very happy with them. It's durable, sharp (although not as sharp as the Microplane), and will stand up to all kinds of abuse. The only downside: Since the stainless steel…

Pros
  • understandable even for the elderly
Cons
  • bad instructions

good grater suitable for graters, peelers and slicers

Ever since I first tried the Microplane grater, I've known that the only graters you can get are ones with inlaid teeth (as opposed to stamped ones). After leaving my grater too close to the grater's oven openings (hot air deformed the plastic frame), I decided to look for an all-metal grater of comparable quality. There aren't many options that meet the requirements of 1) pickled teeth and 2) all metal. This is one of them. In general I am very happy with them. It's durable, sharp (although…

Pros
  • stainless steel 18/10; is 11 inches long
Cons
  • Almost everything is here

Works very well! - Peeler

UPDATE: Eye Remover DID NOT WORK. I'm not even sure if the piece of metal at the top was meant to remove potato eyes; It is completely blunt, without contours. I think it might just be for looks. Yes, the blade cleans my veggies well, but when I need to remove potato eyes, I need a dual blade. Original Rating: It works REALLY well. This is a mid-range product. It's way better than any metal you can buy at the grocery store, but it's not the best quality. Not much attention was paid to detail in

Pros
  • Ergonomic design minimizes fatigue and discomfort
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Until American companies stop importing Chinese garbage and.

. Start making things, I will continue to buy German products, like this delicious kitchen time saver. Most people wouldn't think of a peeler review. It's too unimportant to justify typing anything. However, if you cook long enough and care about the quality of your creations, this simple kitchen tool will bring a smile to your face. I'm not going to compare it to the dingy, wasteful vegetable peelers that typify the American kitchen company's "brand names" that are "designed in America" and…

Pros
  • Ergonomic triangular handle; Hanging loop at the end
Cons
  • Not all fit
