I was upgrading an old computer in my den that was annoyingly slow so I installed an SSD and decided to upgrade the storage from 4GB to the max supported 8GB . That was a really good price for DDR2 memory, which is hard to come by these days. The existing memory of an unknown brand was DDR2 800MHz, so I decided to stick with the same. I installed some of these modules in a mid 2011 iMac (upgraded from 8GB to 16GB) which recognized the modules on startup. So far my system has run quieter - not the old "chuck-chuck-chuck" drive working harder than it should - an improvement I attribute to the new memory. Thumbs up than I expected but nothing exceptional. The modules came in protective plastic cases (plastic blisters) surrounded by bubble wrap which protected them well. I recommend.

I waited a bit before writing this. I bought two of these 2GB of RAM for my HP dual core laptop in November 2019 and now in September 2020 almost a year later. They are dead; Killed my laptop.
