Good quality part

Used to pull a cut brush up a slope. At first I was afraid it would be too easy, but it all works. Approximately 35 feet of 3/8 rope attached. Easily released by manipulating the rope. Very happy with my purchase. Received on time.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Appearance

Light rowing hook

This hook consists of a light round rod made of three thick strands of wire welded together. I bought it to haul fallen branches out of a pond and the hooks just flex and straighten as I pull the load. Your needs may vary but I think this one is good up to around 40 pounds.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Delicate

This hook is perfect for my purpose. It was supposed to pull rotted sagebrush roots out of the ground using a small garden tractor and a 3,000-pound winch. I'm not sure if climbing with a 200 pound guy or girl hanging from him looks good and tough, but you never really know.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Quality

We use it to grab loose limbs.

We use it to catch twigs that fall from some of the willow trees into our pond. We use 50 foot 3/8 inch diameter braided nylon rope. We pulled out several limbs of a fairly large diameter and considerable length without bending them. ATV or tractor). Just keep pulling and eventually the limb will move.

Pros
  • Hot-dip galvanized steel makes it strong and tough
Cons
  • Not sure

KUFA Galvanized Steel Grappling Hook 8 " H x 5 " W

KUFA Galvanized Steel Grappling Hook 8" H x 5" W my front yard as it better Has hooks for grabbing and pulling limbs to cut them off with scissors. I use 550 paracord and once hooked I tie them and then cut them. An added benefit of this purchase is that you can use the hook and line to pull debris out of the water before casting the net, saving you the hassle. Strong fingers and a good hook for $12.

Pros
  • Ideal for grabbing pots in the water
Cons
  • High Price

Just what I needed - Boating

I needed a small hook to throw into a tree so I could remove a fallen branch and got stuck in a branch Storm this hook did the trick, it was light enough to throw high but not so big that it took more strength than me, the branch was light enough and didn't get too tangled in other branches , so I can't speak about the durability. Although the hook held its shape while retrieving a broken branch, I will use this hook again the next time I need to grab a branch I can't lift off the ground.

Pros
  • Made from 1/4" steel wire
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
