I have the same externally the same but after 20 years of use the hinge fails. It came as a replacement. I will say that while it looks the same, this one is not as heavy as my old one. I went ahead and squeezed a lemon on it and it worked, but I had to try harder as the metal isn't that heavy. I hope it goes well in the dishwasher. If not, I'll come back and downgrade to 2 stars (I didn't have the washing instructions with me).

There really is nothing new or unusual about this citrus juicer. They are the same as the ones that have always been made, but they work quickly and efficiently, they are easy to clean. I throw my juicer in the dishwasher and have had no problems. There's an ongoing debate about how you should put the cut lemons in there, and I now believe in putting the cut side on top of the fold. Half of the lemon almost turns over after squeezing, and the juice doesn't fly out that much.

I have found that squeezing lemons/limes by hand is quite difficult and time consuming. And limeless margaritas aren't the same. I found it fairly easy and effective to use. I don't think this is the best manual juicer out there and I feel like the design could be improved to make one squeeze juicing better, but with a little work it does a great job. Personally, I think the yellow color makes it look a bit cheap and inferior, but that's half a matter of opinion.

I've had several of these coated juicers from different manufacturers and they all work fairly well although this one generally seems cheaper than usual as the hinges are already loose when new and adjustment has changed has This makes it harder to get good compression. I'm not a metal expert but I can't believe it's stainless steel. It's very light and doesn't feel very hard in my hand. The hinges are not very well made as they dangle a lot. This lemon squeezer is pretty decent. It's all metal, but the pivot has a lot of play, allowing the arm to move slightly left or right instead of going straight down. I put in a quarter of a lemon and it squeezed out the juice pretty well. I had to press a little harder, but it worked. Overall I am very happy with this lemon squeezer.
