It's handy to have a stick at the end of the knife. The serrated knife cuts tomatoes easily. Super cute design. I highly recommend it if you eat a lot of tomatoes.

The knife cuts well, but these little scissors are a star. It easily peels thin skins as well as thick skins like eggplant. But beware, I cut myself and it was less than 2 minutes out of the box.

Unfortunately it's almost impossible to put the knife in the sheath as the bottom of the sheath is very narrow. However, this can vary from knife to knife. I liked the sheath they had before as the knives were much easier to insert. I won't be buying these knives again due to the new sheath design, but luckily I have more than I need from previous sheath styles. BUT LOVE all KR knives on their own. They are funny and very well carved,

I lost my old beautiful Rowoko tomato knife that I had for about 35 years and can't find another one anywhere. I looked at tomato knives here at Revain and finally settled on this set. This scrub is just amazing. I have never peeled a tomato with a vegetable peeler. I just blanched and peeled them, which is probably what I would do with lots of tomatoes anyway, but if I only need one or two, I use a vegetable peeler to peel them to save time.
