According to the addon it should have fit my KitchenAid blender but it doesn't fit very well. It's too deep and won't let the mixing head go all the way down.

I love that I don't have to keep stopping to clean the bowl! I've had a few of these glitches when using them to mix very thick batter or batter, but I replaced them because they're so convenient to use. I think if they made the stem out of metal instead of plastic it would be more durable.

Mixes the batter very well - scrapes it off the sides of the bowl as you mix. However, plastic is not indestructible. My old one cracked kneading very tough dough after years of use and also warped when placed on the stovetop over a hot oven. But it's good that I replaced it with a similar one.

I think it works great with other models like the old 5 liter pro model but not very compatible with the 5- Liter Professional Plus model. It's narrower than the paddle that comes with the machine so it doesn't come into contact with the wider sides of the bowl. It should also be noted that it's made of plastic and probably won't last long, but for the price, that's about what I expected.

I bought this and just used it for the first time to make cookie dough - 4 double batches of my eggless chocolate chip cookie dough (I use cream cheese instead of eggs) and it passed the test like a champ. (I have a model with a KA 5qt bowl lifter.) It was great to slap everything together without having to keep stopping and emptying the bowl. I will notice that a small strip of dough has formed above the fly knife on the inside. Bowls, but I wouldn't consider that a deal breaker in my opinion.

When my partner washed and ruined the original aluminum whisk in the dishwasher I figured it wouldn't be too hard to find a replacement but BOY! Finding something dishwasher safe for a 5 liter bowl (not 6 liter bowl) for a lift motor (not tilt motor) faucet proved to be something of an odyssey.
