Very disappointed

I bought a Kuman 5 inch resistive touch screen case holder as part of a kit that included a Kuman touch screen and also bought a Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi and touch screen arrived within a few days. Imagine my disappointment when I saw that the case would not be delivered within a few weeks. It finally showed up a few days ago and I was ready to assemble it. It had no instructions. It's normal for me because I can put things together and it's not very difficult. The hardest part is…

It takes a lot of tweaks to make it work as needed, but it gets the job done.

I have looked at the product images to make sure it will work with my screen, in fact the screen I have is what is shown in the images. Unfortunately, like many other reviews, I had to make a lot of modifications to fit my screen. Luckily I have a lot of experience with my Dremel and it wasn't a big problem, but it was a lot of work. Not worth it at all.

No instructions included. The PDF on this page was not what I received at all. The product images were a bit closer but not quite there. The hole for the backlight switch was on the wrong side. I thought hey I can cut it. No, the corner was torn off immediately. Then I saw that if I turned it over, I could turn at least three of the four corners together. The USB power connector is a tight fit for my cable. HDMI is fine. Also these three points in the description of this one are 100%…

Doesn't fit nicely.

Better than nothing, this case doesn't fit. Once assembled (no instructions... mentioned PDFs are for a different model) the case leaves a gap at the edge of the screen. The underside is a particularly poor fit, with a ribbon connector and electroplated metal strip exposed across the width of the screen. This case appears to be missing a layer and was not made for the Koeman screen.

Yes, there is no correct instruction. But it says in the description. Just follow it and it is very easy to assemble. No holes need to be drilled. Everything is pre-drilled. Fits perfectly. Generally very good quality. The price is right too. I don't understand why people complain. No, I didn't get it for free. I bought it.
