Will and will not fit my Hybrid Rav 4 as the plastic strip completely covers the mounting screws near the car firewall. Long delivery time and wrong part for my car get this product minus 5 stars. avoid it

I watched a few tutorial videos, each side took less than 5 minutes to install. Liked the improved design that doesn't require manually removing and reinstalling the ball joint cable holder (the new design snaps onto both ball joints). Be sure to tighten the screw-on ball heads (mine came loose in transit) and then align them so they point in the same direction.

I mounted these hood struts on my 2022 Rav4 Prime XSE. The details seemed well done and well finished. Installation was easy. Minimum instructions, but there is a picture. The left and right parts are mirror images of each other, so care should be taken during installation. Good quality and easy installation although the instructions are outdated. The instructions speak of a pin that needs to be installed to hold the strut bushings in the ball joints. The current design uses spring clips that snap around the rack ball joints and are already installed in the rack sockets. You will need to look at the pictures in the instructions to see which brackets are facing which direction. The photos on the Revain website are generic and do not match the RAV4 setup. Written…
