Well, they work. What else can I say? Remember, if you live in a cold climate, these things don't like where you live. Make sure to get them inside as soon as possible, otherwise they will be damaged. It's not the manufacturer's fault, it's the shipping company's fault.

Dark black on cotton paper. It is three times darker than Higgins' ink. To cover an all-black surface, I do two passes with this mascara (kuretake brushes), as opposed to Higgins, which requires four to five passes. I use this in the final step of my watercolor paintings to bring out the darkest areas and lines. When I don't need a watery medium, I just use it in my kuretake Brush Pen. "Tightened" - a sample image is attached.

I got a Kuretake Fountain #13 brush. There were two refill packs included. The brush is made of sable like a fine watercolor brush. I painted with it every day for 3 weeks. I like the quality of the line. I used up one of the two cartridges that came with it. I mainly use the pen brush for sketching illustrations and don't paint large areas with black. I wasn't sure if these were the right gas stations as the information pack was mostly in Japanese. These are the right leads for my #13 fountain
