Ideal for dogs that don't wear hoods!

Love how snug it fits your dog's chin and keeps his head warm! My only caveat is if your dog has a long neck it may not be enough. I have a 100 lb doberman and the muzzle doesn't have any extra length for movement at all.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some issues

Great scarf!

We live in Minnesota at the head of Lake Superior. Winters are long and cold with strong winds from the lake. The Kurgo Scruff keeps Ellie's ears, head and neck warm on long morning walks. I love the fabric, the adjustable neckline and the reflective trim. We have many Kurgo products and love them all.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Almost never

I really liked that about our GSP.

Had to return. It was too big but gosh it was so awesome! Just didn't fit exactly what we needed it for (the dog stopped flapping his ears - he had an ear injury which we were trying to prevent). But it was elegant on our short-haired long-necked German Pointer. Felt great - smooth, well made and comfortable on her I'm sure. But no intermediate sizes.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Everything ok

Perfect for any weather!

I bought this for a girl for a weekend in the mountains. We've had weather ranging from FROZEN COLD to pleasantly warm! This scarf is great for all of that! When it was cold, I could pull this scarf over my dog's ears to keep them warm! It worked perfectly! Didn't slip off and she surprisingly agreed to have it on her ears! I would say this scarf is definitely a win!

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Breathable fabric, pretty, functional for hiking

Keeps my pup warm during an 8 mile hike with sub-zero wind chill! I only noticed after leaving how the scarf warmed the ears without covering them. I also liked the fabric as it's perfect for hiking - it seems quite breathable! The second one I bought from another company was made of a much heavier material and I didn't think it would be as good for hiking.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Super cute and functional!

Great scarf for a small dog! We actually bought it because our Beagle had a hematoma in his ear and needed to pin his ears a bit so the hematoma didn't bother him when he shook his head! It worked like a charm. We used to buy tight headphones to keep his ears down but I felt it was interfering with his breathing! This is nice and loose, does not constrict the airways and is very easy to use! Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • No function

Slips from head to dog's neck

This is a lovely and cozy fabric but I bought this in hopes of preventing frostbite (the breed is known to get frostbite on their ears if not kept warm becomes). Unfortunately, it slips from his head onto his neck. Maybe it would have stayed if there was some sort of "hook" like on the bottom of the legs of road cycling shorts, but the technical fabric that makes up the sock is pretty slippery and won't hold up like it currently does is . developed.

Pros
  • Easy to apply
Cons
  • Nothing here

Dual Purpose - Cold Weather Coat

I used this item to protect some of the seams on my black and tan large (dewlap) long neck Coonhounds. Probably not for the same reason you're seeing it, but it worked way better than anything else. You must also sell it as a wound dressing. Having said that, I believe it will work well as a heater as well. I liked that it was made out of a soft, smooth fabric rather than fleece. Would have preferred a solid color. It's not thick but I think it will provide enough warmth for whatever weather Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Only available in Black

Warmer than expected and fits well

One of our dogs can't take the cold and we live near ๐Ÿฆฌ New York. He had several types of Kurgo jackets and we saw the scarf appear in the ribbon. I thought he would wear it as a sweatshirt to keep his ears warm when we drive with the windows down, but he doesn't like having his ears covered. Even with a rope, he pulls her paw until she weakens. However, he likes to wear a scarf and even as a scarf it seems to keep him warm, although the fabric is thinner than I thought. The fit appears to beโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not bad
