Cozy and Realistic: Discover the Kurt Adler 7-Light Flicker Flame Candle Light Set Review

If I could give these flickering candlelights less than one star I would. I bought these to use with another set of flickering candles that I bought from another store. The first set still works, Kurt Adler headlights stopped working two weeks after purchase. Maybe I can figure out the problem and use them on my next vacation, but why would I need it? You would think they would have lasted over two weeks before leaving.

These beautiful flickering candle lights are just what I wanted. Seven lights is just enough to add a vintage look to one side of my 7 foot Christmas tree. I'm thinking of buying another set next Christmas to put on the other side of the tree. As mentioned in another review, the small plastic clips are cheaply made. Two broke on first use. I just improvised nozzles with green coils from the supermarket. I'm happy.

These lanterns are beautiful but they drive me nuts every year trying to hang them on my tree. The attachment system is plastic clips and I would say at least 60% of them break the first time you try to attach them to a branch. These headlights aren't cheap, but the plastic clips are frankly rubbish. In the end I have to tie them with twisted ribbons on each side of the candle. These candles look great but the integrity of the product is a nightmare. They look so beautiful we felled a fresh Christmas tree this year and after hanging 4 sets of these candles from them we decided to leave the Christmas tree as it is with no decorations. I bought 6 sets of 7 bulbs each. I have to say I love the way they look and will probably hang them on our 10ft Christmas tree every year as they give the warm, vintage Christmas look I wanted. I just hung two new boxes on my tree. I was a little surprised when I opened the first box and had to attach clips and springs to 5 out of 7 candles.
