I have a very expensive artificial Christmas tree. The weight of that treetop made the treetop crooked. It doesn't really take much to attach to the top of the tree, but try as hard as I could, it ripped a chunk off my tree, which disappointed me. We bought this one when our old star wasn't shining this season. Unfortunately it arrived damaged. The spot weld holding one of the dots on the star failed and one of the screws also came loose. The star attachment is really pretty. I had no problem attaching it to the top of my artificial Christmas tree. I just bent the top branch so the tip fits snugly against it. Just adjust it a bit so it doesn't tilt. While beautiful, she doesn't look solid. I'm afraid when this season is over it might not be kept in the packaging and kept with all my Christmas decorations.
