Kutsuwa Adjustable Pencil Sharpener RS017GR Review

This sharpener is great for thinner pencils like Prismacolors which are notorious for broken nibs. There are 5 settings that allow the user to determine the thickness of the core section used. It contains shavings so there is no need to use it over the bin. The sharpener has a "close" feature that prevents shavings from falling out, making it a great portable tool that won't leave a mess in your art bag or pencil case. Very worth trying. This is my favorite sharpener.

This little sharpener is the best color pencil sharpener I have found. It offers 5 tiers so you can decide how long the tip lasts for you. It worked flawlessly on Prismacolor, Polychromos, Staedtler Aquarellen, Tombows as well as cheaper Staedtler, Maped and Marcoraffines. I love this pencil sharpener. It came quickly and I have never seen sharper pencils than when I use these. My only possible complaint is that sometimes I have to hold the pen oddly to actually sharpen it (or I think I do). The hole is an adequate size for different pencils, so small pencils are a bit more difficult to sharpen. The best sharpener! This is by far the best sharpener I've ever used! Love it so much I bought another one and bought two more for my daughters. It sharpens at 5 different lengths which I like. I had previously bought one of these sharpeners and it worked fine but dulled a little earlier than I thought. I speculated that this might be because I had sharpened a whole set of 150k crayons and thought that this might be causing the blade to wear out sooner than expected. Great sharpener! I recently purchased a Kutsuwa adjustable angle pencil sharpener for my painting projects and am very happy with it. The sharpener has settings #1 through #5. Setting #1 gives you a very obtuse angle and I don't think this setting is very useful, but some might find it useful.
