Review on Kutsuwa Adjustable Pencil Sharpener RS017GR by Carrie Spencer

Great sharpener! I recently purchased a Kutsuwa adjustable angle pencil sharpener for my painting projects and am very happy with it. The sharpener has settings #1 through #5. Setting #1 gives you a very obtuse angle and I don't think this setting is very useful, but some might find it useful. Setting number 2 isn't much better than number 1, but it gives a universal spot that's good for writing but not coloring. Personally, I use settings 3-5 depending on the project I'm working on and the technique I want. Setting number 3 is a good general point for painting a small space, but not so good for details. Setting number 4 works even better and gives you the detail you need to work on fine details. Setting number 5 is great for working out the finer details, or you can put the pencil to the side for feathering and blending. The sharpener is a bit small in my hands, but I'm a man with large hands so it should fit snugly in a woman's hand. The shaving chamber is a bit small which is the only downside I found about it. It's very easy to use, the blade is very sharp and I haven't had any problems with the pen stem breaking off. I hope everyone finds it as easy to use as I do because it's so easy to switch from one setting to another! Hope that helps!
