Truck drives MUCH better, less wobble

Fits my 1989 Toyota truck as promised. The truck drives much better, shakes less and drives great. I should have worn them years ago and was "shocked" at how much better I ride after installing them. I've put a few thousand miles on them so I'll report back after 10,000 and see how they behave.

Pros
  • Shock absorbers
Cons
  • I'll write back

Good replacement OEM

I installed these shocks on my 2001 base Tacoma 2WD. I didn't want the shock to be stiffer than the factory shock. Although I've only driven the car twice since installing it, I really like the ride quality. My car has 264,000 miles with newer front coil springs (I suspect they were replaced during the frame recall) and original rear leaf springs. The car drives well, not hard on bumps. Very satisfied!

Cons
  • Fits

Pretty good, inexpensive.

Enough for me. They work perfectly, definitely much better than the old, worn out shock absorbers. The installation guide is a joke, useless so good thing you probably won't need it. And the two "forked" ends that attach the smaller/bottom bolts aren't as strong or center as accurately as the OEM block's all-metal struts, but that's a minor issue. The price was right and the truck drives better, so I'm happy.

Pros
  • Shocks, struts and suspension
Cons
  • Some trouble
