2013 RAV4 rear shock absorbers. Good economical OEM replacement.

Put this on my daughter's 2013 RAV4 Platinum. They fit perfectly in the back. Good basic OEM replacement kit. I also think they are the same or better quality. So far happy with them after a few weeks.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Good but not great

Super ez to install

It was a super ez to install on my driveway, still works great no reason to argue reinstall wheels but did it anyway. If this is your first time doing it yourself, do your homework; The bottom mounting bolt won't come out without disconnecting the bottom mount from the hanger (it's held by 2 bolts from the bottom).

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Rav 4 2014 in parts

Car drives much better now. Excellent price and quality. There are videos on YouTube on how to replace them. You only need 17mm tools. Toyota has made this quite difficult so my advice is to loosen all the nuts and bolts before removing any of them. When installing, I found it easier to install the top screw first due to the lack of space.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Safety

My car drives like a dream

I recently did some repairs on the front and back of my car. I also installed rear shock absorbers. Now my old box drives like a sports car! I have some bad roads and my car doesn't jump like it did before the installation. My mechanic advised me to buy these shock absorbers. He mentioned that they can be a little pricey but they are a good product. I agree.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great trip! for parts

A few years ago, Bilstein shock absorbers were installed on the rear of my RAV4. It really made a big difference in the ride, AND the shocks made a rattling noise over bumps. I've had them checked several times by reputable mechanics and none of them have cited impact as the cause of the rattle. I swapped out the shocks for a pair of KYBs. The noise is gone and the ride is MUCH smoother. Buy KIB!

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • There are nuances

Perfect Fit 2007 Toyota RAV4 Limited

Perfect Fit 2007 Toyota RAV4 Limited Rear Shocks. Be prepared that changing the rear shock absorbers is not interesting. The top bolt/nut is hard to get to, the bottom bolt/nut is easier, but you have to unscrew the lower control arm to get the bolt out. My original rear shock absorbers still seemed fine, but I wanted to replace them since I had done the front struts. Removing, replacing the springs and reinstalling the new front struts was quicker and much easier than that of the rear shocks…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Volume
