Kyocera Ceraplaner all-purpose scraper

I used this scraper to clean my glass hob and it got scratches. Another one I also got from Revain, simply called "scraper", was fine and didn't scratch. I sent this one back but really liked the other one.

Revain Website Description: Kyocera's kernel slicer cleans grill grates, stovetops, cutting boards and other non-Teflon® surfaces quickly and burr-free. Its ultra-sharp, advanced ceramic blade removes burnt-on food without leaving metal scratches. I am very angry that he ruined the hob surface.

The wide flat sides work well for a Scandinavian mesh knife, the blades will scrape chunks of refractory steel and will also easily scrape tinder and fine sawdust when reinserted into the handle, but you can do it without

Versatile and useful scraping tool

I bought a Kyocera Ceraplaner four years ago to renovate the oiled wooden top of my kitchen island. The Kyocera did its job, I put it in a drawer and almost forgot about it. Recently I needed something to remove the burned-in dirt from my ceramic hob and I thought of Kyocera. Some reviewers have reported scratching issues, but the Kyocera worked well on my stovetop, surprisingly well. Your mileage may vary. This evening I used the Kyocera to clean the glass window of my Cuisinart steamer from…
