Okay but I still prefer steel

Decided to try ceramic as it was the deal of the day. Suitable for cutting vegetables and cheese; However, I always picked up my steel double knife first. One benefit is that it stays sharp longer than my steel pair knives.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Great little knife!

I bought this knife to cut tomatoes and other not very hard fruits. Most knives have a tendency to snap through softer objects if not kept very sharp. I love this knife! It is very sharp and easily cuts very thin slices. I have to buy a case to protect it, although I understand that it can be easily damaged.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I will add later

Recommended but not a plastic protective case or holder

This is a good value ceramic knife and like all ceramic knives it is quite sharp but brittle. Given that, I'm disappointed that there's no plastic case or mount for it, or at least a warning in the description. This price should include the scabbard.

They cut well in the kitchen and dining room

I LOVE THESE KNIVES! I threw away the old set my husband and I bought when an advert fooled us and now I only use these knives. I have three different sizes and that's all we need. No more unsightly knife blocks taking up space on my counter. No more unnecessary setting knives cluttering up my drawer. I bought a separate set of steak knives (a different brand) for dinner and slicing, but these Kyocera knives are good for everything else in the kitchen.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Vulgarity

A good lightweight paring knife.

nice, light paring knife. We just got it this week after getting it on a lightning deal. So I only used it once. But it's very sharp and pretty light. Please note that the packaging states that it can be washed in the dishwasher. (This contradicts the description on Revain). So I will continue to wash it in the dishwasher. (We have a Bosch dishwasher with a 3rd basket so it doesn't rub other cutlery while washing. I'd be more concerned if I tossed it in the basket with forks and spoons.) I'llโ€ฆ

Pros
  • great product
