Snap Crackle Pop for Knife Block Sets

These knives looked amazing. We liked black. Unfortunately individually. They broke off and crumbled in my grandmother's decaying teeth.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Vulgarity

The knife broke while slicing a tomato

I bought a set of ceramic knives from Kyocera and when I used them to cut the middle of a tomato, part of the blade broke off inside the tomato. I bought them a month ago.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Communication with the seller

I love Kyocera knives!

These knives are suitable for almost any cutting, slicing and grating job in the kitchen. They stay sharp and make prep work easier. I really like the knife block - it keeps my knives handy. Good product! I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Quality

Be careful very sharp but they are very fragile

I love these and they are so spicy! We don't cut anything from the bone and nothing is frozen to avoid chipping the blade, but if you're not careful how you "stick" it into the shell, you can chip it with this action alone! This is my only complaint! Lost a knife just because it was put in the sink like that! If we use it now, let's put it on a rubber mat immediately to avoid this accident in the future!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • poorly thought out

A Cut Above Knife Set

I love Kyocera ceramic knives. They are very sharp and cut through butter like a hot knife. The only downside is that they're brittle: the ceramic that makes them so sharp also makes them brittle, like an obsidian blade (or dragonglass if you're a GoT fan). These knives are great for slicing crunchy and hard foods like fruits and vegetables. They also cut boneless meat well. I made the mistake of slicing the meat off the bone and chipping the blade of the knife a bit. That's what I get if I…

Very sharp but for straight cuts ONLY

Yes they are and stay sharp. But do NOT confuse them with utility knives. You are not. Even the slightest snag or twist can cause the blade's edge to chip. So don't use them in situations that might require some sort of twist. like a bone something. When the edge catches on the bone. Click, the chip comes out. Is that and a $40 increase from 11/2019? That's ridiculous. I bought my set a year ago and now it costs FORTY dollars more? No thank you. My advice, add one or two of these for special…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Insanely hot! Costs money.

Wow! These knives are insanely sharp! I've just finished slicing some tomatoes that are so thin (and light!) that they're translucent, 1-2mm thick. You won't find anything sharper, so you'll spend more time slicing than sharpening. The only thing you shouldn't do is boning the meat, where the knife acts as both a lever and a cutting element. He's sharp and tough. Compromise of the inevitable fragility. If it was made out of pure diamond you would have the same problem. Personally, I'd rather…
