Very thin material but cotton and comfortable

Love the design and the material but very thin compared to the original we used in a hotel in Japan. I was hoping to find a thick one at this price but the thickness was disappointing. The size is perfect, my husband loves it.

The story of the little yukata

This yukata did not come in a size XXL, but a large size was ordered, the largest available. Unfortunately it was too small for my 6ft 2in height and 200lb weight. There were also no "pockets" in the sleeves found on Japanese yukatas.

  • Very comfortable and washes well. There is an inner pocket the size of a phone on the chest, which is very convenient.
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for people who are allergic to the materials used in the manufacture of bathrobes.

Exactly what I expected

The fit was perfect. The quality was perfect. It was everything I had hoped for. I bought this as a gift for a friend who is interested in all things Japanese and he loved it.

Okay, I better wear it

It's good but the fit isn't like other robes I've worn. The shoulders are narrow and the sleeves barely reach the elbows. I'm not tall at all.

Pros
  • My son loved his spa robe. It looks great on him and is light enough for our warm weather.
Cons
  • Customers unfamiliar with Japanese-style clothing may find the rope and obi difficult to tie, which can make the robe uncomfortable to wear.

Well done although the big one is quite long

This is a very nice quality hotel style yukata. The set included both an elastic belt and one made of regular fabric. Taller than I expected and about ankle length (mine is 5ft 8) so it's really "tall" western style. I would like to order it again (perhaps in normal size).

Only for very thin people.

Not large enough around the body. The bathrobe "opens” when I sit in it. Not entirely satisfactory. I'm afraid it will be sent to the flea market. I have a 38 waist. Can I exchange for a larger size? Even after washing? madduxbusiness@gmail.com
