It's very stiff, fits well and is a lot cheaper than the competition. I really see no reason to buy a famous brand pitch stop mount other than to have a name to brag about. This slightly increases the NVH. So if you want a more luxurious ride, you're probably looking for something softer. Later I added IAG Comp engine mounds and a Group N gearbox mount and positive shift kit from Whiteline so it's an eye drop it should be loud lol.

I have previously performed this update on my 2008 Sti (Cartboy) and 2011 Sti (Perrin). This product is just as legal as branded pitch pads. I love branded products but no one will see this guy as I have been staying with TMIC since 2018 Sti. That's literally what Perrin sells without her name. A cheap and effective way to clean up the transgender movement. Definitely a great upgrade if you like banging gears. For your health!

Appears to be a good quality mount but is about 1/2" to 3/4" smaller than my 04 Forester 2.5sohc 5x, I suspect this will be too small for any 2003 Forester. I even tried lifting the engine/transmission to see if I could squeeze it in, but it's way too short. I'll try to make a washer to raise the bracket on the gearbox high enough to fit, will update here if it eventually works, but the bracket doesn't fit as advertised.

This motor mount feels great under acceleration, reduces wheel slap to near zero and makes acceleration in 2nd gear much easier and more stable. However, it stutters a lot when idling. You will hate this mod for spending a lot of time idling with the aircon on because it idles rough and sends vibration and noise right into the cabin. However, since I spend most of my time behind the wheel, I really enjoy this mount and the improvement in handling outweighs the rough idle for me personally.
