Good sound, bad ergonomics.

Good, smooth sound and not overloaded. Overall, the sound quality is above average. Agree with other reviewers that a reliable seal simply wasn't there, regardless of size. Could not speak, drink, sing, or chew without movement. The cable is also terribly uncomfortable. More of a first try or prototype than a finished product with these issues at this price point.

I almost made a big mistake! Almost got it back :p

I bought the es4s on the 21st of this month. I liked them so much that I immediately decided to upgrade to Zs10s. My test was theoretical, I was wondering how to decide if they sound better than my es4s. I connected one of es4 on one side and Zs10 on the other side. I thought it sounded exactly the same. I was wrong . The Zs10s overpowered and filled in the gaps in bass and mids on listening. It was only when I plugged in one at a time that I could actually hear the difference. Wow! If you…

Very good in-ear headphones

Excellent headphones, the sound is linear and neutral. The combination of 4 balanced armature drivers and a dynamic driver gives a very warm, transparent sound with tight bass (not boomy but tight) and a pretty good soundstage. At 32 ohms you can drive them with more amps. I use mine with a Darkvoice 336 and a Dragonfly Red DAC, both sound great. Dragonfly Red can fly it alone. They also work great with Darkvoice, they feel solid enough and the ergonomics aren't too bad. I am very happy. I…

The right earbud died after 8 months of use

I ordered them in December 2018. The dual pin of the cable was constantly being disconnected from the air, Bud, sometimes in the middle of practice or even church service. I just pushed it away and kept walking, but sometimes they broke loose and fell to the ground and I had a hard time finding them. Finally I got a small amount of super glue and applied it to the plastic to keep the airbag from falling off. This worked great for a while, but I just went to test it and found the right earbud…

Hear music I've never heard before!

KZ ZS10 in-ear headphones review without mic These are without a doubt the best in-ear headphones/earphones I've ever used. Not that I have much experience with them, but I only bought them to replace the headphones I've been using for the past two years, which were *the best*. I took it to work today and was delighted. To be honest, I had my doubts at first; I wasn't sure if they would match what I had before. My previous headphones were a gift from my wife (can't remember the brand…

Great idea but poor components muffle sound

Awesome and affordable products are made in China these days. Sometimes they break the "you get what you pay for" rule. In that case, there are better sounding options in this price range. After listening to various sources and genres of music through the KZ ZS10, I kept hearing that the frequencies were fighting each other. Sometimes the high frequencies were very clear with weak bass, or the strong mids faded into an uneven sound. This is something I don't experience with other headphones, so

Incredible sound quality

I've been listening to them for almost two weeks now and I'm very satisfied. My personal preferences when it comes to headphones are twofold. First, I love precise bass, deep, punchy and not muddy. Second, I hate sharp high frequencies and sibilance. However, I usually stay away from well-balanced ears. But after reading reviews about the KZ ZS10, I decided to give it a try. Not disappointed. The dynamic driver delivers more than enough bass with the clarity and detail you would expect from 4…

Impressed! Just get some foam tips.

+ Fuller sound than cheaper models + Deeper/richer bass (not muddy) + Modular design / Detachable cable + Comfort (with upgraded foam ear tips) + Price (especially when compared to competing brands) - Included accessories do not Doesn't work well for me, YMMV - Cable tends to tangle - Cable noise if you move it too much - Slightly less noise isolation than my ER4-XRs (which cost 5x more) I'm a bit of an audio geek and very particular through my headphones. I first tried their $20 dual-driver…

High quality, great for live sound

I use IEM (in-ear headphones) for live performance on stage (acoustic guitar, bass, percussion and vocals) and live sound engineering, so I need reliable and efficient monitors that don't color the sound (meaning the monitors don't emphasize low, mid or high tones so what I hear is as close as possible to the original for a good mix). These IEMs are probably the best I've heard for the price! Advantages: very smooth frequency response - does not color the sound. A lot of beginners are used to…
