I can't tell you how many rolls of crappy masking tape and horrible label tape I've had to throw away because they never really tear and barely stick to surfaces. I am very impressed with the quality of the Gaffer Power label tape. I can't believe I've ever spent money on anything else! Oh, and when you finally want to remove the tape, it comes off without leaving any sticky stuff all over it. This is really a great band.

I bought it twice and each time it was a tool in my arsenal. The little things you don't think about make a big difference. It's one of those things. It's easy to write on, very durable and doesn't leave a sticky adhesive. It works very well on all of my music markers, but surprisingly it works very well in my garden. I have used this on fabric pots that have had water seeping through them. This tape is stuck. I will for sure buy again.

Some people use label making machines but I prefer label tape and markers, I find it faster and easier and you don't have to peel off the backing (and of course it's cheaper). It's better than masking tape because it stays in place longer (masking tape dries out over time), peels off smoothly (masking tape sometimes leaves a mark), and provides a bright white background for the label (unlike beige masking tape). Otherwise it's almost the same consistency. It's labeled for audio/video use, but I
