Good quality for tool kits

The tools I received were of good quality. The center hole was too small to fit my axle so I had to drill it out. The material turned out to be very hard and dulled 2 drill bits. Then he easily removed the freewheel with a ring spanner. I saw no sign of the soft metal that others have complained about. Maybe they just had poor quality adjustable wrenches.

Exactly what I needed. Great value, fast shipping

I haven't had the quality issues that other reviewers have mentioned. It fitted perfectly into my Shimano 7 speed freewheel and worked great for removal. I had to use a giant breaker with the appropriate socket (as recommended) to take it off - lots of force but still no damage from this tool. Even if there was one problem, there is an additional one. My new ratchet is also perfectly adjusted. Finally, I know location matters, but I ordered yesterday afternoon and it was here this morning…

Great tool but not for older 2014 Freehub Gravity MTB wheels

Glad they sent two. I have a gravity mountain bike. For my type of bike I tried this tool but it turned out to be wrong. The largest cog was called the "Big Wheel". The bike shop removed my wheel in ten seconds with a Park-Tool FR-7, which is similar but slightly larger in diameter. If you have Dawes or Gravity, consider those if you are struggling. With that I could feel his teeth snap into place, but it was a loose feel and I ruined one of them as the tool continued to slide. However, I will…

It started badly, then didn't get any better. Things got worse after that

Shaped like a FW removal tool, but that's where the similarities end. I threw it away the first time I used it. Undress if you get it wrong. I'm a professional bike mechanic so I know how to use this tool. I've always used park tools. I thought they were the same. Boy was I wrong. The freewheel is still attached to the hub. Unfortunately I can't return this because I need it for the first time in months and the return period has expired. I had to check it out immediately to see if I was being…

Soft metal, *head required* - breaks when using an adjustable wrench

If you're thinking of using this with an adjustable wrench, think again. I've tried and the metal of this tool is too soft, you just round the tip. See photos after my first try. This was with a regular adjustable wrench without the broken rod for added momentum. So the steel/metal of this tool is quite soft. Please Note: It WORKS, but* you will need a socket and a very strong 1/2" ratchet or punch that fits snugly on the top of the tool. That way (with a tube that can be used as a brake rod) I
