These were my favorite shoes for when I needed a quick chore outside like walking the dog or a quick trip to the pharmacy or grocery store. I had a previous pair and wore them until I got too embarrassed to wear them anymore. Unfortunately they didn't last very long. These shoes look great but the fabric doesn't pucker and is actually vertically reinforced at the heel/ankle meaning they will never loosen. It took me a month to fix the buried chunks in my Achilles heel and I don't see these shoes ever "shrinking in". I'm sure the shoes would be great for you.

I received them and the fit and comfort was good but the canvas of the shoe seems very fragile because after 3 months of regular wear there is a hole in the left shoe above the thumb in an office environment. Judging by other reviews, this is a common thing. Don't buy them if you intend to wear them often.

I bought this shoe for everyday use. It's convenient out of the box. They look and feel good, but the issue of durability is a serious one. The canvas sock collapses with light use. Buy something like the ORIGINAL Shoe Armor LITE or find a more durable shoe.
