I chose these for my boho/nature kitchen and they are perfect. I get compliments every time someone comes up to me. They are easy to clean if liquid is spilled. I just let the liquid run down the sink and then fold the mat over so the little beads around the edge don't get wet and rinse the mat with water and then dry it! So easy.

later If I had known that it was impossible to lay them perfectly flat and not try to roll them up I would never have ordered these napkins. Bobble tassels are constantly being folded under napkins. I cut them off to solve a problem. If I had known the napkin had a plastic back I would not have bought it. That's why they will never lie flat. Just a waste of money because they will never work better than today.

I really like these napkins. They are rolled up, have a plastic base, they need to be straightened with a charger or something large. But they look great. The little tassels are cute and they really add a nice touch to my table. I leave them on with clean silverware ready to serve. You feel the spirit of the American Indians, the Spanish revival, boho. I was looking for that. Small ball brushes aren't plastic, so they can pick up stains. But just clean them when needed. They look like rattan…
