I bought these skates for my son but I am returning them.

I bought these skates for my son but am sending them back. There is no padding, the vinyl material is very hard and tough. He just tried them on and immediately complained that they cut his ankles.

These skates are dangerous.

We sharpened them and are not new to skating so we know how to skate and keep our legs straight but even on freshly cut ice with blades on our ankles sharpened they were softer than tennis shoes and didn't stay straight. Come back immediately!

Finally become the best in sports

My son goes to figure skating lessons. He had never skated before. First I bought him adjustable skates and he couldn't even stand on the ice! His teacher said he needed figure skating shoes. He wears a size 1 1/2 - 2 shoes so I bought him a size 2 and he is doing great in them!

Make sure to tie your shoelaces tight!

I bought these shoes for my son who decided to learn to skate. If you tie your laces properly, they are great for beginners. My son has wide feet but he rode for over an hour with no problems when he first put them on. This is a great purchase considering they cost a single rental.

They're not bad for cheap skates, but the boot is pretty flimsy.

They're not bad for cheap skates, but the boot is pretty thin and I can see my son's feet flexing in and out; maybe I'm not explaining it properly, but a good sturdy boot will keep its feet upright when they are much more slippery. I wish they were stronger but I think that will do for now.
