Lakewood 24-Inch Commercial LUF2402A BM Review

I bought this fan for two reasons: Firstly for mosquito control, it works quite well on a calm day. Secondly, cooling down in the garage when working with cars, trucks and agricultural machinery in summer. The fan works best in the garage. I have a 36" Lakewood and another 42" fan. When there is a breeze outside, the fans do not work well or at all. They don't move as much air as I expected. Excellent fan. It moves a lot of air. I did a lot of research before buying. From my research, direct drive fans are more energy efficient than belt drive fans. It moves a significant amount of air for the power required. I have no way of measuring the airflow. However, I measured the performance. The motor reads 4.3 amps. The fan works perfectly. Reasons for star deduction were: 1. Poor packaging, missing fan case gasket which resulted in dents during shipping (I had 3 dents but they didn't affect performance). 2. The wheel assembly was removed from the fan during shipment. .(wrongly routed) The bolts on the wheel assembly were pulled out and half was missing, I had to mount the wheels with bigger bolts as the old ones didn't fit properly anymore. 3.
