Central vacuum repair completed

Gasket arrived ahead of schedule and in excellent condition. My husband also replaced the motor and adding that part was very easy too. Great experience overall.

Do not buy, does not work

Do not buy. It's not a good seal for a vacuum motor, it's utterly useless. I had to use the original rubber gasket because it's a really good gasket that doesn't let air through.

Correct size but HIGH stiffness

This gasket was the right diameter and thickness but the foam was MUCH stiffer to be usable. It's too thick to fit "as is" because it doesn't crush enough to tighten the engine mounting bolts. window foam. It's even harder than my floor mats.
