I took a chance but was very disappointed. The hats just hang there. With the slightest impact, they simply fall off when the door is opened. The hooks that go around the door are flimsy and come out easily. I've tried, I've really tried to find ways to make it work, but it's just an epic flaw of the product.

Despite the "wooden hanger" advertising, this is NOT! I was looking for something to hold what was called "wooden coat hanger" in my day; They were thick, heavy, and able to wear a full man's suit (jacket and pants). This is more suited to "plastic" hangers, so I'm still stuck in the box I used. Not good.

Don't waste your money. Worst thing I've ever spent money on. Very disappointed. It is so poorly made that it fell apart right out of the box. Still, I tried to use it. Didn't last at all. I put four bags on him before they hit the ground. The metal clips don't even fit the door properly, and the "clips" just slide off when a wallet is placed on top. Empty wallets and small shoulder bags. Garbage !

This product is a very thin nylon strap with plastic hooks. These hooks slide up and down the webbing so you can adjust the spacing. The problem is that unless the nylon is under significant tension, the hooks will just loosen and slide all the way down as soon as you try to hang something from them. A much better solution can be achieved by simply tying a couple of hooks or cheap carabiners into any piece of webbing or rope.

Bought this because it looks exactly like the one my grandma got me years ago. This one looks the same, but the material is of very poor quality. MY main problem is that purses slip off when hung and the only way to avoid this is to double or even triple the hooks. which then leaves you with about 3 "functional" places to hang your handbag. Even then, they still slide down. The strap that holds them is so smooth that there is no friction to hold anything in place.

UPDATE: Seriously don't buy. Spend more for better quality. I only hang 3 wallets on it and it falls over when the door is closed the wrong way or sometimes just like that. definitely waste of money. They really suck to put on the door. The hooks are too big for my door so I had to bend them to make them tighter. Once I did that they were more secure and I could hang things. Hooks are cheap. Overall, I'd recommend spending a little more and getting a better one.
