I've read reviews that the specified adapter doesn't fit the garden hose. You have to spend another $10 for a hose adapter. I didn't realize it until the day I needed it. Pity!

I'm not sure what type of hose or pipe is commonly used with the adapter that comes with it, I really need a garden hose adapter in the box rather than buying it from another vendor for $9.

The pump has been running 24/7 for about 3 months. So great for his business. One thing should be noted. I wanted to connect a garden hose to it. The outlet is not the right size. Drive to the hardware store and assemble the adapter.

I've had this pump for 4 years now and I want to say it's a great pump. Last year I emptied the pools and mud pit after our well started leaking. The clay from this mud pit dries almost as fast as concrete and when I used this pump to empty the pit (and didn't clean it afterwards because I was too tired) I was sure it wouldn't work again. But of course I use it today to aerate my pool.

Get what you pay for. The pump will pump full, just not at the specified flow rates, unless the depth is minimal and the drain hose is not very short. If you need a serious pump, look for a bigger pump. If you're pumping water from a pool cover or small area, this pump is for you. Also note that if you want to use a garden hose you will need to cut and clamp it or buy a 1" to 3/4" adapter.

The item has been repackaged. It still works and I can't afford to wait for a replacement. I seem to be getting more and more repackaged items from Revain and their third party suppliers. I am not sure if I will renew my membership next year. After one use I can confirm that the actual flow rate per hour is about 300 gallons, not the rate advertised in the description. Very disappointed with this supplier and product.
