I don't like the hook. It's very stiff, doesn't look like metal at all, and is difficult to attach to a briefcase. I apply it but I don't think it will last long. I thought it was more durable metal. At second glance, it looks like sprayed zinc, not what I wish for in a good computer bag in the long run. The padding was very good. You saved on fasteners. I went with this one as it looked solid and sturdy and has been good so far. I used to use another brand that swiveled but they broke after 3 months. I missed the snifter, but if it lasts much longer, it's worth it. I'll let you guys know how it's going in about 3-4 months.

I wish I had paid more attention. There is nothing wrong with the strap but I would like to pay more attention to the photos and description. It is exactly as described and seems to be holding up quite well. My only issue (and that's my fault again) is that the ends of the straps don't connect to the rotating parts. I received this strap in place of the strap on my CC/EDC bag which had no lining. The hooks on this strap are made of thick wire and bent steel flat springs painted black with sharp edges. I wouldn't use it for anything, I'd be afraid of scratching or snagging, so the strap is useless to me. not a complete loss.
