Includes: 1 Post Base Plate; 4 Decorative Plates; 8 Hex Cap Nuts; 8 each of 1/4-inch by 2-3/4-inch OWT Timber Screws. Bases are made of galvanized steel, then black powder coated with an attractive finish. Includes hardware for attaching base to post for standard installations. 3/16-inch thick hot dipped galvanized and powder coated steel; Raised base keeps wood post elevated from ground contact. Recommended for pergolas, decks, veranda posts, pavilions, arbors, and railings.

As advertised for building materials

This product works exactly as I expected based on the description on Revain. Easy installation, very strong. A bit pricey but worth it.

Heavy build materials

I used them on a huge deck. worked great. I like the fact that after you center the posts. Then drill the red heads. You can still make fine adjustments. to get the right level from side to side. will use again. also great price.

Ok nothing better, bad design

Standard 6x6 size is 5.5 inches. When using this support, the flat parts will move inward, leaving a small hole at the bottom. I only recommend this if you have wood to tree as Simpson only has wood to concrete and it's a miserable jump in tree to tree. FOR WOOD TO WOOD IT IS GOOD.

Love these bar supports - very strong, easy to install, beautiful! (2 sides only

Yes, the title says it all - damn strong, I'm sure it won't go anywhere; and looks good too! Used 1/2"x3-3/4" wedge anchors and very happy with the results. Please note this one only has (2) decorative side plates. I know it shows in the picture but I kinda completely missed it - I hope! Ozco also sells the same base with it (4) Parties.

Strong and reliable fittings

I ordered these after using the Simpson Laredo 6x6 mount for the first time. I liked Simpson's ability to slide and adjust a bit, but ended up allowing the bar to move too much. Because the base of this mount is molded larger, the seams of the base are much stronger. The side mounts are solid after using the included hardware and adjust to take raw wood and slide out for a true 6x6 (although I'm not sure where you'll find that). Overall I'm satisfied
