Some of the needles were a bit rough, the metal was not of the highest quality. But for the price, I now have enough yarn needles to knit for the rest of my life. This is a very good value for a very useful set of yarn needles.

They are great for embroidery. I was struggling to get 6 threads through a regular needle so I switched to them for most of my projects. About half of the unnecessary ones are sharper, and the other half are duller. Keep in mind that large needles don't work for all fabric types and stitches, but they work great and do what I need.

EXCELLENT Set of blunt metal needles for needlework. My teenager uses them to make dolls. She uses the largest size and can thread a standard size yarn through the eye of the largest. Not sure if it goes through the smaller sizes as she hasn't used them yet. They are blunt but sharp enough to accurately sew on doll hair, arms, legs, etc. Trust all the reviews I had to read to FINALLY find good blunt end needles.
