I used them for a small makeover in my son's room. I didn't mind that they looked a bit rustic and imperfect, so I just held them with one hand and filled them with a small roller. I think they look great and you can make any pattern you like.

These are cheap, easy to use stencils. It took a lot of effort and time to turn an ordinary wall into a conversation piece. Much easier and much cheaper than wallpapering. I did it with a roll. Since I used two colors, each color took about 30 minutes over two days.

The stencils are great. First time using this one. Our plain white planters redesigned. A new background color has been applied. Leaf templates were used. It takes a long time to blend out areas to avoid overpainting. It is worth it in any case. Find another place to use them. Very durable. Easy to clean and reuse.

The templates are thick making them strong and easy to use. Unfortunately, I couldn't use them where I wanted. I plan my garage. I wanted to use them as a stat against my Star Trek and The Walking Dead posters. Because the walls are textured, the colors have run. It looks like my six year old granddaughter drew it! So I went without stars. Sad because I've waited so long to use them. I will use them in other crafts that have a flat surface like wood.

I didn't use them as wall stencils, but rather to make marks on the ground plane of a large acrylic painting. As a result, they are largely covered by subsequent layers of paint, but there are transparent areas through which the stencils can be seen breaking through. These templates suit me. It took a bit of practice to make them look beautiful. The first few sheets saw through the stencils, even with stencil glue, but after some trial and error it worked. I recommend using a dense roller brush with a light amount of paint and spray adhesive for best results. I just wish there was more space between the edge of the leaves and the edge of the stencil.
