Broke after a few months. Why don't they make them out of metal instead of plastic? Will have to live with that. Don't buy another one so it breaks too.

I just wanted a lid but it came with an air gap (the part where the hoses attach) for about half the price I was looking at seen some big business who loves orange very much. It's a chromed plastic cover so the chrome will probably wear off after a few years, but it's perfect for my current needs.

It's plastic but the "chrome" finish looks nice and won't rust. Also, you can't argue about the price. The description of "high style" might make you think it's bigger than it really is. It's only 2.5 inches high and 1.8 inches in diameter, just what I needed. However, many dishwasher air vents sold by Revain are larger, so don't let the "high style" description fool you into assuming they will fit if you have a large air gap. Be sure to measure before buying.

I can't speak for others as there are so many different sinks but in my case it was the perfect combination to replace the original sink which cracked a little on the sink is a low point after many years. (I'm pretty sure I met him somewhere on the line to crack him while he was dozing or something). Water goes straight into the sink, not over the countertop, cat, floor, carpet, fridge, stove, ceiling, wall, etc., until I can clear the pipe. Filmed in New York in seconds and fits like a glove.
